Savannah Celtic Christmas Concert and Ceili

Join Savannah native Moira Nelligan and the Dixie Jigs (George Norman and Mickey Nelligan) for old time fiddle tunes, songs, dances and stories to celebrate the season with traditions from Celtic lands, Appalachia and right here in Georgia. Also performing are actor/artist Michael Hickey presenting the ancient art of Irish mask folk theater called "mumming" and Jacquie Berger with the Atlanta Irish Dance Troupe. All principal players from the much beloved "Atlanta Celtic Christmas" production which will be televised this season on PBS, the Atlanta area cast will be joined by the St. Paul's Parish Choir (choirmaster Gabriel Lawrence).

Immediately after the concert enjoy a traditional Christmas Ceili (Irish for music and dance party) in the Church Hall with sing alongs and beginner friendly Irish social dancing taught on the spot! Join the cast in this very special after party with a chance for every audience member to partake in singing or dancing to live music!
