A kid friendly family Christmas concert in Downtown Decatur with fiddle tunes, songs, stories and dances from Celtic lands, Appalachia and right here in Georgia. Featuring fiddler/singer Moira Nelligan of "The Music Class" program for young children and her band the Dixie Jigs with George Norman and Mickey Nelligan. Also performing are actor/artist Michael Hickey presenting the ancient art of Irish mask theater called "mumming" and Irish dancers from the Atlanta Irish Dance Troupe.
Right after the show, join the Nelligan School of Traditional Music for the monthly Second Sunday Jam and POTLUCK from 4:30 to 6:00 pm. This jam is always free and open to the public.
